LIFE
IN JESUS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION, INC (LIJIF) is a 501(3)(c) organization in the state of
Texas. With millions of at-risk populations worldwide, we will
support existing self-sustaining social service programs integrated
with empowerment and immigration law interpretation in various
countries. The first of many will be in Uganda.
PURPOSE:
To Serve those at risk with dignity, respect and love, regardless of Religion, Race, Background and National Origin.
LIJIF Mission Statement:
LIJIF, Inc. aims to promote the economic and social well being of families in the U.S. and third world countries. And to enhance their self sufficiency by improving their health, education, youth development and the communities as a whole; mentoring, training and providing technical assistance, counseling and other programs that will enhance family and community lives.
LIJIF Vision Statment:
LIJIF, Inc. is a non-profit initiative to mobilize the world community to respond to the under privileged people. LIJIF is working to eradicate poverty through educational, social involvementy, medical, spiritual and technical assistance one person at a time.
- We wish to fund projects worldwide that will enhance the
lives of the world’s at-risk populations while giving
them a unique chance to thrive. In so doing, we will help save
hundreds of thousands of lives by supplying malaria treatments
and other medicines to at-risk populations who have the need.
- We intend to supply preventative AIDS drugs to pregnant
women and at-risk populations affected by HIV and AIDS. Concurrently,
we will help coordinate medical mission trips to different
countries and establish close working relationships with existing
programs and services through our collaborative team approach.
- Most third world outreach programs provide only one meal
per day, which usually consists of less than 400 calories.
We intent to support feeding programs that make it possible
for hungry at-risk populations to have the food necessary to
thrive. These programs greatly increase the life chances of
these at-risk populations and give them a better chance of
reaching adulthood and living productive lives.
Since
Africa is mostly an agrarian culture, most farmers are only
able to produce enough food, crops and livestock to feed their
own families. With women doing 75% of the labor, we intend
to help empower them and make accessible educational and vocational
tools with integrated resources needed which will improve their
methods of production for consumption.
- Through these co-operative and integrated efforts, sustenance
farmers can modernize production methods, increase yields and
have surplus to sell after meeting family needs. Life In Jesus
International Foundation, Inc will support local farmers and
make resources available for the creation of farming co-ops,
rice and energy production, which will help farmers grow more
food for local consumption and for export purposes.
- Nets treated simply with insecticide can reduce the chances
of getting malaria by 80%. We will supply nets to at-risk populations
in need through collaborations with existing grass root organizations
and local churches. We will fund the contracting of individuals
to spray inside homes and under eaves for mosquito eradication.
This will reduce the $25 billion dollars cost that the world
spends each year on the effects of malaria.

- Clean water will stop nearly 80% of all communicable diseases.
Life In Jesus International Foundation, Inc will support the
drilling of water wells and water recovery projects in areas
where clean water is not available and help provide anti-bacterial
water filters where needed.
- By being a part of a collaborative effort that works in
conjunction with government officials, village leaders, families,
social service agencies, and global initiative organizations,
we can begin the change that will lead to at-risk populations
receiving immigration legal services, vocational education
and making affecting life changes needed to thrive. In turn,
they make a difference in their generation, communities, nation
and the world.
- Give Initial Operating Capital to certified students to
start businesses that can help enhance lives and pass on the
commitment to others thus decreasing the volume of employment
seekers.
We
are there for all at-risk populations regardless of race or religion
and any other artificial criteria. We are committed to raising
the funds needed, which will enable us to help feed, clothe,
educate and provide necessities to enable at-risk populations
to have a better life, facilitate hope for the future and learn
to believe. Our participants and their families will become empowered
through our holistic services so they become the generation of
tomorrow. A generation, which learns to speak and see for those
who cannot.
We intend to build the new facilities as the funds become available which
will allow each center the time schedule, which allows for optimum self-sustaining
revenue.
“Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter
of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a
thing to be achieved.” - William Jennings Bryan
International opinion considers Uganda to be ahead of the curve
in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. According to POZ Magazine, "The
government of Uganda has responded to HIV in a relatively proactive
way since the beginning, declaring a national campaign against
AIDS in 1986. Since then, messages extolling condoms have taken
over local billboards and radio announcements in this East African
country, a campaign credited with reducing infection rates by
25 percent over the past decade.
According
to a report by the AIDS Control Programme of the Health Ministry
in Uganda, 1,438,000 people in Uganda - over seven percent of
Uganda's population, carry the HIV virus. Out of those with the
virus, 761,300 are women, 532,900 men and 143,800 are children
under 12 years. The report went on to say that more than a million
children are orphaned by AIDS, with some children under 15 finding
themselves heading families. In some communities, only the children
and the elderly remain, thus threatening Uganda's socio-economic
strata, where the economic mainstay in agricultural-based subsistence
that needs energetic people.
Life
In Jesus International Foundation, Inc. is going to
come in and fill in the gaps between resources and application
thereof. We intend to use all the resources available to help
build a community with hope and faith. The community will implement
formal educational standards which will be effectively and
efficiently facilitated. Life In Jesus International Foundation,
Inc already has the tools and technology that will make this
readily achievable.
The mission is basic education for the at-risk populations,
which allows for quality of life development, which allows our
participants and clients to grow, prosper, succeed and become
responsible good citizens.
